Children's privacy notice
Last updated 1 November 2026
Piano Play is made for children, so we've kept it simple: we do not collect, use or share personal information from children (or anyone else) through the app.
- There are no accounts, profiles, chat or social features.
- There are no ads, no third-party trackers and no in-app purchases.
- Microphone sound is analysed live on the device to recognise notes and is never recorded or transmitted.
- Scores and settings are kept only in the browser on your device.
This approach is intended to meet the expectations of the UK Age Appropriate Design Code (Children's Code) and the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we ever introduce accounts, we'll ask for verifiable parental consent before collecting any information from a child under 13, and update this notice first.
Parents and carers can contact us at hello@nexloft.uk with any questions. See also our privacy policy and guide for parents.
